The Directive 89/106/EEC on construction products, forces the EC (CE) marked when the harmonized standard or ETAG of the product in particular appears. In the case of metallic profiles to be used in gypsum plasterboard systems, in January 2007 the harmonized standard EN 14195 came into effect, forcing the EC marking thereof, for its commercialization in Europe.
As of July 1st 2013 the new European Regulation (EU 305/2011) came into effect by establishing the obligation to deliver the Declaration of Performance (DOP) together with the product. In Isopractic since 2006 we mark our products with the EC manufacturing all of the profiles as specified by the UNE EN 14195 declaring the mandatory values of Reaction to fire (A1, incombustible), and bending. Consult www.isopractic.es Benefit Statements (DOP), mandatory document for the EC marking.
In February 2009, thanks to the initiative of ISOPRACTIC, AENOR approved a Particular Regulation for Metallic Profiles, being the only quality standard at State level, that recognizes the correct manufacture of the metal profile to use in laminated gypsum plasterboard systems through the seal obtained by AENOR. In November 2009, ISOPRACTIC is the first to obtain this quality seal in each of its profile references, ensuring rigorous controls throughout its manufacturing process, and ensuring dimensional media, thickness of the profile, flexural strength, galvanizing and quality of the plate, according to the recent Regulation requirements.
Our ISOPRACTIC Systems also have numerous mechanical and fire resistance tests in the APPLUS + Laboratory.
